Sustainability and Responsibility at The Wandering Mutt Company

Here at The Wandering Mutt Company, we’re working hard on ways to be kinder to the planet we all share, while still being able to offer high-quality products to our customers. We know that climate change is a serious crisis we are facing today and that sustainability is important for our future, our customers, our team, and of course, the planet. 

What we are doing to be more sustainable as a company:

1. We use Print On Demand for all of our human apparel and branded products. These products are made using the made-to-order production approach, fulfilling only the items that our customers actually want and ultimately reduce any waste from over production. We have also only sourced companies that are making an effort to reduce waste by improving their packaging and have domestic manufactures. 

2. We offer EcoCart at checkout, which adds a few extra cents to your order to make it carbon neutral. EcoCart then directs the carbon offset funds to certified carbon offset projects like planting trees or building wind farms. 

3. Any approved products for return are directly donated to a local rescue/shelter to reduce the carbon footprint return shipping and to keep these items out of the landfill.

As a company we will continue to make an effort find ways to reduce our carbon footprint and offer sustainable eco-friendly products to our customers.
